Depression Clinical Study: Vitalize

Background
Depression is a common and serious mental health condition that can significantly affect daily functioning and quality of life. Ongoing research is essential to better understand the condition and develop new treatment options for adults living with depression.

Approach
For the Vitalize study, I developed a scientifically grounded visual system inspired by the formation of new neural pathways. Layered, fanning blade forms were used to evoke a flower opening its petals—symbolizing renewal, growth, and the possibility of a new day—while maintaining a clinical, credible tone.
